A contemporary shape with the most natural of inspirations, these stick earrings embody the best of sleek design and eco-awareness. Recycled spalted maple wood* is hand carved to highlight the wood's natural knotting and patterns.

*The wood is not logged. The local spalted maple wood resource is collected from the ground and is not threatened by this activity.

Line patterns vary in all earrings. Some naturally show more or less "spalting" (black organic lines throughout the wood).

About Artisans:
Woodworker Francisco Tikay and his 3 sons run a family workshop, where they fabricate beautiful and functional wood art objects. The Tikay family works from home and on their own schedules, allowing them to earn much-needed income in a safe environment and empowering them to take control of their lives with confidence and dignity.
