A tastefully whimsical… or better said, just plain gorgeous children store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, by the name of Sweet William carries Via Nativa Smock dresses. Via Nativa’s Mini Tea Pots made by artisans working in the ceramic workshop Potters for Peace were featured in Plenty Magazine’s Green Gear blog.

The cooperatively owned ceramic workshop Ceramica por la Paz or Potters for Peace seeks to “build an independent, nonprofit, international network of potters concerned with peace and justice issues.”

A few days ago, journalist Paula Alvarado wrote a lovely post about Via Nativa on Treehugger.com. TreeHugger has been my one-stop shop for green news in 2008 and Paula’s weekly articles about green issues in Argentina and Latin America are among my favorites.
